NOTD: Look Reflex Blue

Si tratta di uno degli acquisti di cui parlavo qui. Il colore come vedete è molto bello, ma mi lascia un po' perplessa il risultato finale. Qui ci ho messo anche del mio ad applicarlo in maniera non proprio precisa (eh..gli esami!) però come potete vedere lo smalto tende a creare un po' di grumi. C'è anche da dire però che è costato neanche 2 euro, quindi il rapporto qualità/prezzo rimane comunque molto buono.

This is one of the products I've showed you in this post. The color is really good as you can see, but I'm not so sure about the general result. Part of the fault was mine, since my hands weren't that still (exams stress!) but you can see that the nail polish itself creates lumps. Btw it costed less than 2 euros, so I can say that value for money is still very good.

NOTD: Look Copper Shine

Prima review di quello che ho comprato l'altro giorno da BIPA. Parto dallo smalto color bronzo.

First review from what I've bought some days ago at BIPA. I started with the copper nail polish.

Qui è con solo una passata. Il colore è semitrasparente, e più adatto a dare un tocco di marrone ad un altro smalto come base che ad essere usato da solo. Sotto vedete anche con luce diretta.

Here is one coat only. It seems like a semi-transparent color, maybe more useful as a top coat to give another nail polish a brownish shade, than as a stand-alone. In the above picture you can see it also with direct sunlight.

Come potete vedere nonostante la trasparenza non è male. Diciamo che è un colore da tutti i giorni, molto fine. Mettendo due passate comunque (scusate se non ho fatto la foto, ma ho problemi con la digitale!) il colore risulta esattamente come quello della boccetta!

As you can see although the little transparence, that's not bad at all. I can say that it's an everyday color, very subtle. With two coats by the way (sorry for the lack of pics, but I've got some issues with my camera!) the color's exactly the one in the box!

Alla faccia dell'haul.. 4 cose! Va beh, mi trattengo visto la lunga serie di acquisti fatti online! Avendoli visti in vari blog e avendone sentito parlare su Twitter ho deciso di provare qualche prodotto della linea Look by BIPA e della Essence. Ecco cosa ho preso:

Yes, that's not really a haul.. they're only 4 things! Well, the reason is that I have to control myself since I recently bought a huge amount of things online! Lately I've seen a lot on blog (and on Twitter too) products from Look by BIPA and Essence, so I decided to test something. Here's what I got:

1. Look by BIPA Reflex Blue High Speed Nail Polish (n° 18)

3. Essence Multiglitter Tip Painter color So Funky (n° 03)

4. Essence Nail Cuticle Softener Pencil

L'unica cosa che ho provato finora è stata la matita curativa per le cuticole. Veramente eccezionale! Semplice da usare, ammorbidisce velocemente, e ha un buonissimo odore.

The only thing I've tested yet is the Cuticle Pencil. That's really good! It's very simple to use, sock quickly and has a really good smell.

NOTD & Review: Kiko 251

Visto che alcune di voi mi avevano chiesto su Twitter come fossero in realtà gli smalti di Kiko, ecco qui la prima di una serie di review dedicate a smalti e makeup in generale.

Since some of you requested me on Twitter how did the Kiko nail polish look like in reality, here's the first of a serie of makeup products review.

Il primo che vi mostro è il numero 251, un rosa acceso (Rosa Peonia) presente nella collezione base da 3.90 euro.

The first one is the number 251, a bright pink featured in the basic collection, sold for 3.90 euros.

Come potete vedere il colore sull'unghia è lo stesso di quello sul flacone. La cosa migliore? E' bastata un'unica passata per ottenere questo effetto!

As you can see the color on the nail is the same as the one in the bottle. The best thing? It only took one coat to obtain this!
